Bridging the Gap Between Local Food and Michigan Families: 2012 SNAP Bridge Card Acceptance at Michigan Farmers Markets Report

Each year since 2009, MIFMA’s Food Assistance Partnership has surveyed all of the farmers markets in Michigan that accept SNAP benefits via the Michigan Bridge Card. The purpose of the annual survey is to gain a better understanding of how the process is working at Michigan farmers markets and to learn what support is needed by markets in order to maintain their ability to accept these benefits. The fourth edition of this report has been published with results from the 2012 farmers market season.
