On January 22, 2014 MIFMA provided comments on the 2014 Draft for GAAMPs for Site Selection and Odor Control for New and Expanding Livestock Facilities. Comments were sent to the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Environmental Stewardship Division. The comments urge the review committee to ensure that the voices of small-scale farmers are heard, considered, and represented as they move forward in drafting these GAAMPS.
