Farmers Markets as Engines of Economic Activity: Power in Numbers

This webinar, hosted by Michigan State University’s Center for Regional Food Systems (CRFS), discusses the many ways Michigan farmers markets contribute to community economic development. Speakers will lead participants through recent research done around impacts farmers markets have on consumers, producers, and communities in Michigan. Challenges, outcomes, and various tools for data collection will be introduced along with discussion about the changes in culture around data in Michigan and suggestions for those based in other states.
