Veronica is a Senior Strategist for Piper & Gold Public Relations, a firm in Lansing committed to using public relations for good and helping nonprofits, government agencies, associations and small businesses make a difference. Veronica has made a career out of her ability to clearly and effectively tell stories through active listening and creative translation. Veronica will share best practices, tips and tricks for how you use web-based platforms and other tools to show the story of small businesses and farms in a very visual way.
Shailah Bunce, Rock River Farm
Shailah and her husband Rowan own Rock River Farm in Marquette, Michigan. The small, diversified farm grows cut flowers, vegetables, and poultry and also features a catering service. Shailah is skilled in photography and shares the story of her life, the evolution of their farm, and the story of their thriving small business through a visual-based website, Instagram and Facebook. Shailah will share her experience as a farmer with visual storytelling and the tips and techniques she uses to incorporate this activity into her busy farm schedule.

You can participate in the webinar from any location where you have consistent internet access for a device with speakers. Registration is required to participate live and/or access the recording. Members of the three partnering organizations, the Great Lakes Lavender Growers Group, the US Lavender Growers Association and the Michigan Farmers Market Association, register at $10 each. Non-members register at $15 per person.
