Participating Farmer Information

Hoophouses for Health provides participating farmers with funding to build a new hoophouse. Farmers “repay” their five-year, zero-interest “loan” by accepting Hoophouses for Health Market Cards from participating families at the Farmers Market or by providing free produce to qualifying schools or early childhood programs. Farmers can accept Market Cards for any food product or food producing plant produced on their farm. Products do not have to come from the hoophouse purchased with the loan.
