The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the creative direction, strategy and editing behind Taste the Local Difference (TLD) media and communications. TLD media includes: The annual print-publication, Michigan’s Local Food Guide, Monthly Consumer Blogs + Newsletters, Social Media Channels and digital Holiday Gift Guide. The ideal Editor-in-Chief candidate has excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and project management skills.

Taste the Local Difference® is Michigan’s local food consulting, media and marketing agency. Our work is diverse, but has one common goal – to sell more Michigan grown and produced food across the state.
We are a woman-owned and woman-led business, specializing in communication strategy for purpose-driven food brands across the state of Michigan. We are passionate about education, building relationships and empowering entrepreneurs.
Our work also involves educating consumers about the value of local food and how they can better support their local economy by supporting local food systems.
