Job Description

The qualified candidate will perform a wide variety of customer service, and event planning functions. The Farmers Market Assistant Manager will be required to coordinate special events, and supervise seasonal staff. This position will require frequent interaction with market vendors and members of the public, act as Farmers Market Assistant Manager by planning, organizing, and directing vendors and logistics at weekly Farmers Market. This includes recruiting vendors, processing applications, and assigning vendor booth spaces at the Farmers Market, communicate with vendors, nonprofit participants, and sponsors regarding the events, train and manage volunteers for the events, and pack and organize materials for the Markets.
