About the Employer

The St. Louis Farmers Market was established in 2016 as a project under the Gratiot Area Chamber of Commerce with strong support from the City of St. Louis, the Middle of the Mitten Association and many other community partners.  Currently all operations are run by the market manager with support from a paid market assistant, an advisory committee and volunteers.

We are an outdoor, seasonal market that features fresh produce, flowers, plants, baked goods, honey, maple syrup, beef/pork/lamb, unique handmade craft items and more. The market is located in beautiful downtown St. Louis in the City Hall parking lot at 300 N. Mill Street. This location offers plenty of parking and easy access to downtown shopping and restaurants.

We strive to partner with other community groups who share our mission. This includes local non-profit groups, service clubs, the schools, human services, healthcare and transportation services.

To keep the atmosphere fun and positive we also offer space for local musicians to perform at the market, along with activities that promote healthy living.
