About the Tours
Building partnerships between SNAP-Ed programs and farmers markets creates a win-win-win opportunity for farmers markets, SNAP-Ed programs, and the health of the community. Farmers market tours will showcase how SNAP-Ed nutrition education programming works to increase consumption of fruit and vegetables in a farmers market setting. Tours will include an orientation to the market, explanation of how the market is accessible to SNAP consumers, and will highlight SNAP-Ed programming taking place at the market.
