2023 Farmers Market at the Capitol
The mission of the Farmers Markets at the Capitol is to provide a thriving marketplace that showcases Michigan food and agricultural products in an effort to educate our state decision-makers on the importance of supporting farmers, ag-based businesses, and farmers markets.
These public-facing events are the visual cornerstone of MIFMA’s work to advocate for farmers markets and farmers and vendors across the state. The 2022 Farmers Markets at the Capitol market reached over 9,000 shoppers that spent more than $190,000 with 60 unique Michigan farmers and small business owners. This included nearly $4,000 in food assistance benefits redeemed at the market, demonstrating that the event was accessible to shoppers of all income levels.
We welcome sponsorships for a single market, or all three! Review the full sponsorship packet here to learn more about levels available. Complete your application with the link above by mail, or fill out the online form here.
If you have any questions, please email MIFMA Communications Manager Hailey Lamb at firstname.lastname@example.org. To receive full recognition, sponsorship forms should be submitted to MIFMA no later than three weeks prior to the event.
