Double Up Food Bucks expands access to healthy food for low-income residents in Michigan by doubling the value of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits—also known as SNAP or food stamps—when used for fresh, locally-grown fruits and vegetables. Applications are due February 5th. As a reminder, returning sites from 2020 do not need to reapply. New sites must already be SNAP retailers.
