As a statewide, member-based association, we believe in:

Pronouns are small words, but they can have a big impact. Incorrectly assuming someone’s gender pronouns can make them feel disrespected, hurt, or unseen. By indicating our gender pronouns directly, MIFMA is showing that we are helping to build a culture where gender-based assumptions are no longer the norm.
