Save the date! Our second Monthly Market Manager Meet Up will be held on Tuesday, May 6 from 3-4 PM. Subsequent meetings will be held the first Tuesday of each month from 3-4 PM.
WHAT IS A MONTHLY MEET UP: Hosted by the Michigan Farmers Market Association, Monthly Market Manager Meet Ups are informal, coffee hour-style gatherings for market managers to network, learn, and grow with one another. While MIFMA staff will be present on the call and will offer suggested discussion questions each month, this time is all about you, the market manager! Grab a cup of Michigan farmers market fresh coffee, turn your camera and microphone on, and socialize with your peers from all over the state.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Market managers and related support staff are invited to attend. We ask that farmers market vendors, farmers, shoppers, or other individuals who do not directly engage with the management of a current or future Michigan community-driven marketplace do not register for or attend these events.
TOPIC OF THE MONTH: Each month we will have a new discussion topic related to the current successes and challenges facing Market Managers. These topics can range from what went well the previous year to how to recruit vendors. Have a topic that you want to see discussed?
