Each year, the Michigan Farmers Market Association (MIFMA) gathers with farmers market managers and partners who work to increase healthy food access through Michigan farmers markets. Join us in person meeting at the Muskegon Farmers Market to share the successes and challenges of these efforts and to learn what is on the horizon for food access initiatives at farmers markets in 2023, or participate in the virtual meeting.
Who Should Attend
Program partners, market managers, market staff, and supporters of farmers markets that accept food assistance benefits.
These meetings will not provide training on how to accept food assistance benefits at farmers markets. Training on how to accept food assistance benefits will take place through MIFMA’s Market Manager Certificate Program.
Additional comments or questions can be sent to MIFMA’s Food Access team at foodaccess@mifma.org.
Registration is $30 and includes morning refreshments and lunch.
